Instructions for Substitute Teachers
First, a very big thank you for being here.  Without folks like you, who come in at a moments notice, we simply couldn't run our school systems.

If I knew about this absence in advance, I have left you a complete outline for the day, and you probably won't need this page at all.  But if you're covering for me in a last minute emergency here are a few things to help you hold the fort while I'm away.

1.  Lesson plans are in the left hand corner of the bottom shelf behind the teachers desk.
The Homework Page, which you used to get here, is an overview of the weeks assignments.
2.  The office should have a group of worksheet handouts that you may use to fill any time you think necessary.
3.  If you have any questions, please ask Ms. Conly, our team leader, or any of the other third grade teachers.

Special Notes

Check my box before class starts and during conference period.

Attendance and lunch count should be outside the door by 8:15 each morning. (Teacher aide [student] can fill these out.)

At dismissal, take our class and Ms. Valles' class bus riders to the bus area.  Ms. Valles will take the day care, YMCA, and pick up students to the lobby.

If you are interested, now or later, you might want to take a look at the Visiting Teacher page, accessible from the Homework page that got you here.  There are some special notes for new teachers and substitute teachers that you may find useful.

And, once again, thank you so much for your help.
